Why are doing this?
A goal is
something you are going to do now!! If your dream is totally ambitious; it will happen one day! A goal has to done soon.
The Reward: (stop and write them down now.... these are Deb Casey's goals) Ø Incredible steady stream of income and be able to enjoy my grandkids. Ø House on a Lake - Family enjoys visits. (no fast motorboats) Ø Mortgage paid off Ø Monthly meetings with 30+ excited people - upbeat music - laughter/giggles. Ø 100 Central Groups in our Executive Group Ø 40 pound happy dog in our family Ø 200 Champion Teammates at National Ø Large Deaf Ministry at church
Find a goal so big and exciting that you have an immediate emotional response to it! You can’t be inspirational until you are inspired.
You have to keep moving forward to reach your goal. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
Men keep the doors between their compartments (what they are thinking on) closed versus women who always have their compartments open (running in and out all the time)! Guys have focus and women get caught up in things that can keep us from our focus.
What is your motivation?
Don’t pull into one of the little handicapped emotional parking compartments in your mind. EXCUSES! If our dream is big enough; we will find the time to do it!
Don’t let your family down: keep on trying to succeed. It takes courage to build your business. It doesn’t take confidence….. Courage keeps you going; not confidence.
Michaelango searched for the marble for David: Told the quarry master that he wanted a certain piece of marble even though is was flawed. “I saw the angel in the marble and I carved until I set him free.”
We all have the potential to be anything we want to be. What if you had the power to change the lives of hundreds of thousands of women? You could free them from those horrible corporate jobs? They have no chance of pay increase? Their boss says, “Times are tough, sorry.” You can break that which would stop them from Why didn’t you use the potential you had to do that? A few cancelled parties CANNOT destroy me!!!! I must keep going on: COURAGE!
Don’t allow others who have destroyed their own dreams to squash your dreams! Stop playing the emotional blackmail games. Give up things that stop you from achieving your dreams.
Procrastination will stop you if you allow it to do so. The Glass Ceiling: There is a point that I can go no higher in business. Not so in Usborne: HOW HIGH is the SKY? Instead say: “I will do amazing things in Usborne when: ___________.
My mom graduated with a degree in blackmail and manipulation. Don’t ever let someone else stop you from living the dream you dream!
DOVES - you need to step off the plate to let someone else serve on that plate. You can sit down and let someone else take a chance at that serving place while you step up to the plate in your Usborne business. Can you imagine how sad if you look back and see you didn’t take a chance.
We can do anything in life by helping others to achieve their dreams.
As Randall said recently: It’s not the mountain we move; it’s ourselves!
The only thing that will hold you back is QUITTING. Nothing can stop you, except YOURSELF! You are changing lives... You are changing kids, women's and men's lives!
As Yoda in Star Wars says so eloquently: Try not. Do or do not. There is not TRY!!
